Motorcycle Mike Posted July 4, 2011 #1 Posted July 4, 2011 I lost the bolt that holds the rear brake caliper bracket to the swing arm. Page F-3 of the service manual Ref #4 Part # 95024-10030-00 Discription- Bolt, Flange I'm sure I can get one at Ace if I can find the size, pitch and tpi. Thanks!
Scooter Bob Posted July 4, 2011 #2 Posted July 4, 2011 (edited) I'm sure I can get one at Ace if I can find the size, pitch and tpi. Thanks! Give me a couple minutes, looks like I can take that one out without taking the bag off. I'll check it and get right back to you. Edited July 4, 2011 by Scooter Bob
1 Canuck Posted July 4, 2011 #3 Posted July 4, 2011 You also may want to check the grade of that bolt/capscrew. Grade 5, 8, 10 or ? Just a thought.
Scooter Bob Posted July 4, 2011 #4 Posted July 4, 2011 10mm dia. 1.25 mm thread pitch. 30mm under the flange length, If you can't get a flanged bolt, I would look for 32mm and fit a washer. Happy shopping, Scooter Bob
Scooter Bob Posted July 4, 2011 #5 Posted July 4, 2011 You also may want to check the grade of that bolt/capscrew. Grade 5, 8, 10 or ? Just a thought. I don't see any grade stamp on the bolt head. Looks like it was made to be pretty. Since braking doesn't stress the bolt, except when backing up, I would think any grade you can find would be fine. Better grade might get better corrosion protection though.
