Hello everyone. I recently joined this forum to help with some modifications I am making to my 2006 RSTD Midnight. I specifically needed information regarding retrofitting a Venture pillowtop seat to my bike. The information I have gotten so far has been great! I've done some reading and searching and it has been a big help.

I have done the AIS plug up that I read about on this site. Thank you so much.

Right now I am looking for a diagram to help with fabbing the front L brackets I will need to mount the RSV rider's seat on my RSTD. I would be really appreciative if somebody could help me out with it. I have a Venture seat on the way, ordered the rear seat bracket off E-bay, and have "a plan". I just need some help with the front brackets. The rear seat will be no problem, thanks to what has been posted here.

Thank you in advance, I promise some of my questions will be annoying, but I could use some help and this site was recommended to me by some people from another forum who spoke very highly of it.

Welcome to the site. Don't worry about annoying questions just hope you don't mind the annoying answers you might get. Just remember eventually you'll get the right answer. Oh and if it's winter in the north the answers may end up a bit strange.

Good luck on the mods I know someone will have the answer for you.

Welcome :thumbsup2: I just came here to tell you that I saw the thread on the brackets, then realized that you where the one that posted there. So glad it worked out for you. $7.00 plus shipping sounded cheap enough to me. Rick Butler in the classifieds here also does a good job making the seats fit you better. He did mine, costed more to ship it than for him to do the job.
