friesman Posted June 29, 2011 #1 Posted June 29, 2011 (edited) I just saw this about clearing the snow from the Going to the Sun Highway in Glacier Natl Park. The pic was taken 2 days ago, it looks like they have a long way to go to get the road passable, my ride through there less than a month might not happen..... Flikr seems to be having some issues allowing the preview pic to load, but just click the heading in the blue above the black video frame to have a look. There are several pics in there that make you realize just how much snow falls thathigh in the mountain passes, wow! OB-1 Posted June 29, 2011 #2 Posted June 29, 2011 (edited) Here's another link: Deleted by OB-1... The Venturerider.org software keeps changing the link And here's one for road status: http://home.nps.gov/applications/glac/roadstatus/roadstatus.cfm We'll be at Glacier in just over a month. Sure hope they have the road open by then... Those folks sure have a lot of snow! Edited June 29, 2011 by OB-1
