FROG MAN Posted April 29, 2012 #711 Posted April 29, 2012 Dan you working alone? Does this mean the Warden is the Project Manager? Keeping track of the figures and looking at the budget. Gonna have to sneak down that way and see this thing before long.
Yammer Dan Posted April 29, 2012 Author #712 Posted April 29, 2012 Dan you working alone? Does this mean the Warden is the Project Manager? Keeping track of the figures and looking at the budget. Gonna have to sneak down that way and see this thing before long. She is keeping track of everything!! I hope to start sheeting today. Had Son-in-Law for one day on it. Very few nails in the thing. I've used screws on almost all connections and it is very solid. Always wish you had changed things when you do something like this. There are a few changes I would have made but its looking good. The coffee pot is on...
Yammer Dan Posted April 30, 2012 Author #713 Posted April 30, 2012 Ran out of 3" screws. Trip to town and excuse to eat Chinese!! Diet?? Not today...
KIC Posted April 30, 2012 #714 Posted April 30, 2012 Dan I was checking on progress. I saw that this thread has over 35,000 views and over 700 post. Fuzzy Not bad for a 10 year old thread.... Just kidding Dan.....

Yammer Dan Posted May 3, 2012 Author #716 Posted May 3, 2012 First piece of sheeting went on today. 90 degrees out there. One sheet and I quit!!! Only 40 days I'll have the sheeting on at this rate!!
Flyinfool Posted May 3, 2012 #717 Posted May 3, 2012 Only one sheet? Are you working the wrong muscles at the gym? Or just milking it?
Yammer Dan Posted May 3, 2012 Author #718 Posted May 3, 2012 Hurt arms somewhere but they aren't giving me a break. Not sure if I pushed gym a little too much or garage. Got to work thru it. One sheet was because of heat. That AC in garage just ain't cutting it....
Marcarl Posted May 3, 2012 #719 Posted May 3, 2012 You got to start earlier in the mornings,, before sun-up.
dingy Posted May 3, 2012 #720 Posted May 3, 2012 I don't see any pictures since 4/14. I vote we get a moderator to close this thread for lack of viable input from the OP. Gary

Yammer Dan Posted May 6, 2012 Author #725 Posted May 6, 2012 I got a plan. OSB board comes in 4'x8' sheets. When did they double the weight of those things?? Anywho, I put up a sheet, take a break, put up a sheet, take a break, take a break, put up a sheet... Warden got brave this morning. Got on roof with me. Took 1/2 hr to get her down!! Time for a break.
