Bob Myers Posted April 13, 2012 #676 Posted April 13, 2012 Yes, it is! I just razzin you, jealous that my first garage wasn't but 24x24, new place we just bought has a 32 x 38 garage attached, and within the month my 24x26 metal building should be erected to keep all the yard junk in and out of my garage.
Yammer Dan Posted April 13, 2012 Author #677 Posted April 13, 2012 Sun shining out there. Should get something done today if "Brown Sugar" would quit calling me!!
Yammer Dan Posted April 14, 2012 Author #678 Posted April 14, 2012 I have plans for another building for the junk Bob. No contractor on this one!!!
Bob Myers Posted April 14, 2012 #679 Posted April 14, 2012 Got the permit today for my building, those folks have gotten rather strict, my kit building has to be tied down every 18". I figured one on each corner would suffice.
Yammer Dan Posted April 14, 2012 Author #680 Posted April 14, 2012 I'm so far out in the sticks there are no codes to get in the way.

Yammer Dan Posted April 18, 2012 Author #697 Posted April 18, 2012 Slight glitch as I'm trying to remember how to frame corners. Using 2x6 for fasica board. If I drop it down on end of rafters to allow sheeting to run to edge of Fasica board I can't remember how to catch up difference on corners as Gable end rafter which is 2x6 will not match up with Fasica Board if I drop Fasica to allow sheeting to run to edge of fasica board. Understand?? I wish I did!!
Yammer Dan Posted April 19, 2012 Author #698 Posted April 19, 2012 Don't know if its right but I know how I'm going to do it!!
Yammer Dan Posted April 20, 2012 Author #699 Posted April 20, 2012 Daughter to doctor today. No work on garage. I thought once you married them off you were done with them??
Bob Myers Posted April 20, 2012 #700 Posted April 20, 2012 Nooooooo, once you marry them off you get to not only take care of them still but you inherit a son in law to raise, and then if you are lucky, you'll get a Grand baby to raise and play with!
