Valve Adjustment within 400miles of Charlotte

If anyone within 400 miles of Charlotte NC is planning to do a valve adjustment

any time soon would you please let me know. I would like to come up and watch

someone do one before I try to tackle it myself.

I will be doing mine soon, have never done it before but if you want to attempt it together I am game, however if someone is doing one I would not mind helping someone first.

I'm planning on doing my RSV this Fall. I'll turn 26,000 miles on the trip to Cody.

keep me informed also please. I believe I had mine done a while back when i had a service plan but i am way over those miles and days. I was thinking of getting it done this fall as well or maybe this winter. So if yall are going to do it maybe i can meet up and watch also or we can have a valve adjust get together.

btw. I have a shim kit and tool. if anyone needs it PM me.

see the post by skydoc offering use of his shim kit if you buy the needed valve cover gaskets from him.

 

there is no 'travelling' shim kit. But several members here have put one together themselves.
