Phil and I got home from Eureka Springs this morning before the temps really heated up. It was wonderful to see old friends and to make new friends.

 

We did have a power issue the last 30 miles. But this is the last ride until fall - we hate riding in the high 90 and 100 degree temps, and the bike is going up on the lift for it's summer maintenance.

Edith and I are home safe too.

 

I had a great time meeting you all. Having three of my four kids, and their spouses there also made it even better.

Raymond and I are home. We made it here before it got real hot. The outside temp is showing 100 degrees right now . We really enjoyed our visit with everyone and all the laughs we shared. Looking forward to doing this again some time in the future. Thanks Bill and Linda for once again getting this meet organized.

Don and our gang arrived home about an hour ago. Aussie Annie, Quickstep, Carbon One and Joyce are all here for a night. Stacey and Sharon went their way the last few miles.

We had the best time with everyone. The noon heat was starting to get to us. We stopped for lunch and cooled off. As we hit TN, the clouds came up and it really cooled off about 15 degrees. VERY NICE RIDING at that point.

We certainly lucked out because we never did hit any rain. But everything at home was wet, apparently it's rained non stop here since we left.

Thanks again to everyone for a great meet. It was great seeing the OLD faces and we had an awesome time meeting some new ones.
