Freebird Posted March 7, 2013 #26 Posted March 7, 2013 I'm a good salesman but my heart has to be in it. I just can't see my heart being involved in any discussion with this arrogant owner.
bongobobny Posted March 7, 2013 #27 Posted March 7, 2013 Besides, I'm not sure on this, but I think I heard Pioneer Motorsports might come down again this year, but I'm only repeating a rumor I heard. Ask Banana Boy...
jcturner3 Posted March 7, 2013 #28 Posted March 7, 2013 Thanks for the info on tires. I've had no issues with ME880s on my Roadie, so I'll probably stick with them. I ran Avons before that and they were gone in less than one riding season. I'll never go back to Avons. I'll give the E3s a look-see for the RSV.
MikeWa Posted March 8, 2013 #29 Posted March 8, 2013 I purchased a set of E 3's last summer and love them. I have about 6,000 miles on them now and the tread still looks new. I am going from Ohio to California and back in August and will be about an 8,000 mile round trip. Trying to figure out if I should put a new set on before I leave or will my current set get me there and back safely? Get a tire tread depth gage and measure your tires. Compare that with the published tread depth for new tires and you should get a pretty good estimate of the percent of tire tread remaining. This will tell you how many miles are left in them, assuming your riding habits remain the same. I always allow a little room because some tires wear slightly faster on the bottom. Also don't forget to allow for the 2/32 of tread that will not be used. Mike
