Well of course I'm reading all the posts regarding the pipes....but I prefer the looks of one big pipe on each side...

Here's a short video of my scoot with the 4-2-4's . I wanted to get a better video , but had just a small amount of time to do it today as I was plagued with phone calls . I will try to shoot a better one here soon . Had some popping , but that will be cured later soon as well .

Here's the video , http://www.meangene.us/video/424SB.wmv

This may be a dumb question but have you wrapped the baffles yet? It sounds nice from the video. Can you still hear the stereo at highway speeds?

Pipes went straight out of the box onto the scoot . From what I have heard , the 4-2-4's comes very slightly wrapped . I did not remove the baffles to inspect .

At an idle , you can hear the RSV's water pump over the exhaust . Prior to placing the 4-2-4's on , I listened to the radio/CB at 15-18 out the speakers . Sometimes all the way up depending if I'm Jamming on a good song . And now with the 4-2-4's , I actually haven't had to increase the volume up but maybe 1-2 more on the controls . But to say that I have louder pipes now , I self inflicted the higher noise level through the pipes and in return , raising the volume . On a casual day , I still run at previous volume prior to the 4-2-4's.

Too add , I run a shorty helmet with homemade helmet speaker pockets only over the ears with a slight gap between them .

My main concern was for the wife . She has made no complaint about the louder pipes , even on long trips . Only commented that it appeared that we were in a large group ride by ourselves .

SWEEEET! Man, they sound so good. I'm running Bub's slip-ons with no packing, but they don't sound as good as that.

Hi everyone,I am new here so be gentle! I bought a 2007 venture last August and I really love this thing! I went through the chirp stuff but local shop installed "I" basket through my insistance, and thanks to this forum! it is now quiet,I just installed the Baron 4-2-4 slip ons today and they sound great!I can still hear my radio just fine,it really sounds good going through the gears, however there is a noticeable pop on deceleration, will have to read more on the ais plugging. anyway it is 70 degrees today and is riding time again. Thanks everyone. Hank
