Freebird Posted June 18, 2011 #3 Posted June 18, 2011 You can also check the classifieds under Member Vendors and Rick Butler. I think he still has them listed there.
BEER30 Posted June 19, 2011 #4 Posted June 19, 2011 I just switched out the OEM bolts with hex headed bolts. Drilled a hole in head of them and placed split rings like they use for key rings. BEER30

BEER30 Posted June 19, 2011 #6 Posted June 19, 2011 How much trouble was it finding split rings to fit them metric bolts?? LOL!!!! That's a good one! Split rings more than likely made in China, so assuming that they are metric already. BEER30

BEER30 What was I thinkin', I should have figured. But I still couldn't do the mod. I've only got American number and letter and fraction drills, no metric ones.
Steel Horse Cowboy Posted June 19, 2011 #8 Posted June 19, 2011 I don't know how to post a link to e-bay , but here are some quick release bolts. Item # 230601382295 Reasonable shipping price too. C.R.

Than should take care of it. BEER30
