My 2008 RSV will be dynoed in Topeka in August. It's a yearly Vmax thing but I plan on seeing where mine stands now. I will post it up. I know it's nowhere near what my Vmax had though :)

Ok what size engin was the Road King. the road King classic has a 103 in it this year .

Those were taken from 2006 according to the charts.... so whatever it had at that time I guess.

Funny how the RSV shows it's losin HP just at 6k. Mine is still pulling hard when the rev limiter kicks in at 6400. Gotta get the Dyna to raise the rev limit now that I'm outta warranty.

In your opinion, is the Dyna-3000 worth the money? Do you get any additional performance or improved fuel economy?

2006 - I'm betting it's a 95" motor but I could be wrong. You could get a 103" in police trim that year or a $creaming chicken with 110" FWIW My 88" with pipes, filter and Power Commander would get 69HP, my neighbors similar 88" get's 74 (different Dyno though)

 

RSV HP Drop at 6K????

Look at the Dyna3000 advance curve in their install manual. It shows the stock ECU killing advance starting at 6000, well before the hard redline.

 

My RSV has a dyna3 from PO so can't compare apples to apples. It pulls hard to 7K but starts to get soft to the 7500 RPM redline. I'm reading these off my tach so should be accurate.

 

Sorry Gen1 is still faster, it pulls hard to 8K no problem, I have seen 8500 RPM briefly

Haven't got it yet. Doubt that I'll see improved economy though as I like full throttle too much.:banana:
