Flyinfool Posted June 14, 2011 #1 Posted June 14, 2011 I did not realize that all Yamaha ATVs worldwide are built in the USA. http://www.bizjournals.com/milwaukee/news/2011/05/18/yamaha-adding-hundreds-of-us-jobs.html I sure wish I could just walk into the Yami distribution center that is almost walking distance from where I work to get the parts I need. But NOOOoooooo, They have to ship the part from my back yard halfway across the country so that someone else can ship the parts back where they came from. Now if we can just get the big bikes made here.........
TARHEEL RIDER Posted June 14, 2011 #2 Posted June 14, 2011 The company I work for is a large supplier of plastic parts for Yamaha atv's, watercraft and golf carts. I spent a lot of time in their plant when I was the quality rep for them. The place is amazing. Everything is built start to finish there and everything is tested before it is crated and shipped. It is a good place to work.
ediddy Posted June 16, 2011 #3 Posted June 16, 2011 I wonder is Honda is kicking themselves for moving the usa goldwing plant to Japan. Dealers tell me is hard to get new goldwings and parts since the tusami.
Eck Posted June 16, 2011 #4 Posted June 16, 2011 Dealers tell me is hard to get new goldwings and parts since the tusami. Goldwings dont need parts.. they run forever..
