Venturous Randy Posted June 14, 2011 #1 Posted June 14, 2011 Like I feel many of you do, I routinely use brake parts cleaner. It works well, does not leave residue, and it is reasonably cheap. And, like many, I don't pay a lot of attention to the warnings on the can. I received the following in an e-mail from a friend and I think it warrants bringing to the attention of others on here. Hummingbird Posted June 14, 2011 #3 Posted June 14, 2011 I use Dupont 3812 fast drying enamel reducer and lacquer thinner for clean up. If those don't do it, then I move on.
ragtop69gs Posted June 14, 2011 #5 Posted June 14, 2011 Thanks for the heads up ! I have both ingredients in my garage, guess I have been lucky up till now.
