After much searching I contacted Dave Quinn motorcycles and can purchase a new rebuildable shock for around $400 with manual preload adjuster or $554 with remote adjuster. this is for the standard shock or $464 manual or $624 with remote adjuster for the heavy duty. I have ordered the manual heavy duty for $464. and was told I could add the remote feture later if I wanted to. Will keep you informed after installed and used. We are also planning a trip to Nova Scotia in July and find very little information about roads and sites to see, so any Canada members that can give me a heds up would be great!

I'd be very interested how your fare with that shock, I've been in contact with him also. I used to ride a Honda ST1300, and some of the guys on that forum bought Hagon shocks for their bikes and were pretty happy with them. Ron

1 Canuck Posted July 3, 2011 #4 Posted July 3, 2011 Go through Bar Harbour Maine...it is really beautiful; be sure to go to the National Park in Bar Harbour; amazing views. They have the Cat which will take you across to N.S from Bar Harbour. In N.S there's so many places to see, Bay of Fundy, Peggy's Cove and many quaint places along the Atlantic Coast. The people in N.S are really friendly and the lobster is amazing. I found New Brunswick to be very nice to travel through but the scenery seems to be trees, trees and more trees. If you can make it to PEI; make it part of your trip; it's another great place to visit. Where ever you travel there, you will enjoy! IMHO
