kenw Posted May 30, 2011 #1 Posted May 30, 2011 I'm selling my 2006RSV and have it in the classified section here, but was wondering where the best other places to list it would be! I've never sold a vehicle outright so I'm not sure where to turn. I don't want to mess around with paypal and just want a normal transaction. Any help you folks can give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, kenw

Freebird Posted May 30, 2011 #3 Posted May 30, 2011 Yea, that would be my recommendation too. I pretty much stick to here, Craigslist and then if those don't work, I will try Ebay.
kenw Posted May 30, 2011 Author #4 Posted May 30, 2011 Thanks for the help! It's loaded in the Atlanta Craigslist now. I might add if I sell it on this site it comes with the maintenance stand with legs and a carb tune.
MiCarl Posted May 31, 2011 #5 Posted May 31, 2011 I was selling a minivan for my Father-in-law and wasn't having much luck with Craigslist. I decided to look and see what eBay would charge. Turns out eBay Motors has something called a "local classified" that will show your ad in a 200 mile radius for no fees whatsoever. It also shows potential buyers the CarFax for free. I sold it in about a day to a guy well outside the normal craigslist area. Got a premium price for it too. You might check and see if you can list a motorcycle that way.
Trader Posted May 31, 2011 #6 Posted May 31, 2011 In Canada, we have Kijiji In most of the US it seems that the same site is called ebay classifieds.
Godlover Posted May 31, 2011 #7 Posted May 31, 2011 I have sold several bikes with a for sale sign! Park it out front -put a sign on it. It is worth a try.
