SteveW Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 I am going in on tuesday morning to have a Cataract removed from my rt. eye. they will be replaceing the lens so I will not need glasses any more the Doc said to stay away from dust and away from painting for at least a week. Making these grills is nothing but dust. Looking forward to seeing right again. The left eye had a small vien brake last weekend so that eye is blurry to. Trying to type or read is just a ton of fun right now. LOL
sarges46 Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 All the best with that Steve. It sounds simple but I know myself I couldnt help but worry a little if it were me. A little time off is always good anyway!
99silver Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 Take all the time ya need, I'll send out a prayer. And I still have one of your grills on my wish list, maybe this year. Take care, Gary
Sailor Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 Had to have both eyes done. It is amazing what they can do now. It is well worth it.
Freebird Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 Good luck to you Steve. I had my left right eye done last fall due to other problems. Mine was a bit extensive because of the other issues the the cataract surgery itself wouldn't have been so bad. You'll be back in full stride in no time.
Phoneman1981 Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 Enjoy your time off and good luck with you eye surgery. I had the same procedure 15 years ago at age 33. Cataracts on both eyes. Surgery resolved my issues. Take care.
SteveW Posted May 29, 2011 Author Posted May 29, 2011 Thanks Guy's I'm really looking forward to not needing glasses.
RandyR Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 Good luck Steve. Not needing glasses is good. Talk to you when I get back from MD
