The article also speaks highly of the internal engineering of the Triumph stock engine and drivetrain. The Rocket is a beautiful machine. The Rocket - Turbo .... is just nuts!!

I rode one of those Rocket 3s, and the advice my buddy gave me, was to hang on when you twist the grip.

Man, that thing is fast, I can't imagine a turbo.

Equally impressive are the brakes.

I think that makes the bike look better at least. To me that stock Rocket III motor looks more like a tractor engine than a motorcycle engine. I'm sure I'd love it if I had one to ride. Triumph is coming out with a touring edition of the Rocket III. They left off the trunk though.

Well....I think the article said that the conversion was about 11,000 euro...that would be USD $16,245.27. They need not hurry on my account. :)

WOW! that makes nitrous sound real good:rotf:

And the fairing, radio and cruise. Not much of a touring bike IMHO! I need saddlebags just to ride around town:rotf:cause I'm always preapred for almost anything. Even have collapsable camp stools!:dancefool:

to 195 hp, torque to 230 ft lbs ... so he says

a turbo on a venture would be awesome.neat thing about a turbo is when your not on boost it is as reliable and docile as a stock engine. turbo's like low compression and mild cam profiles so a stock engine is a perfect candidate.the only thing to worry about is lower end,and piston strength. :)

I just wish my old Monte Carlo SS had a supercharger on it (2004 & 2005 models only). Oh well 200 hp versus 240 ain't that much different. :)

Now they got V-8s with 300 hp. Wow! :(
