Whitewalls matter!!

I have an 07 Blue / Black Venture.

We often ride with my Sister & Brother in law. They have an 08 Anniversary HD Road King - a very nice looking bike.

Ever since we bought our bike in 08, when we are with them, THEY get complimented on their bike. How 'nice' it looks. Seldom if ever did anyone say anything about our Venture. This became a running joke between them and my wife and I.

So late last Fall, I had wide whitewall tires put on my bike. We have had the bike out 4 times so far this year and 3 of those times, we were complimented on how nice our bike looks. Those 3 times, we were with my Sis & Brother in law!

My wife couldn't figure out what made this year different from the past years, then it hit us - it HAS to be the whitewalls.

I love the look and hopefully will never have to go back to Blackwalls. There isn't a large variety of brands to choose from and I'm guess that as this model gets older, the choices will get fewer.
