etcswjoe Posted May 16, 2011 #2 Posted May 16, 2011 Boostaroo works well or you can always make one yourself. http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2732095&CAWELAID=107598976
RJD Posted May 17, 2011 Author #3 Posted May 17, 2011 On the RSV you can only have one aux device working at a time. there is a multi port device that allows for more than 1 device to be plugged in ( GPS, Ipod etc) I saw some of them online awhile back but I can not locate any now. They ranged in price from $50-$100. This was a topic of conversation here on the forum at one time and I just can't find the thread or the devices.
etcswjoe Posted May 17, 2011 #4 Posted May 17, 2011 Is this the thread you are talking about? http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=35536
fwbpastor Posted May 17, 2011 #5 Posted May 17, 2011 I bought the amplirider to split my aux port. It works great. http://www.electric-avenues.com/amplirider.html
RJD Posted May 17, 2011 Author #6 Posted May 17, 2011 now that I have read a little closer, I see both the one Joe mentioned from Radio Shack and the amplirider both say they amplify and they split. Can I assume they are the same thing or what would the difference be between them, except one is $30 and the other is $65 Bob
etcswjoe Posted May 17, 2011 #7 Posted May 17, 2011 The amplirider is already set up for 12 volts were as the boostaroo uses batteries so unless you want to keep changing out batteries you have to adapt it to 12 volts from 1.5 volts.
