BoomerCPO Posted November 29, 2007 #1 Posted November 29, 2007 I have looked at pics everywhere on this Site and I have failed to find even 1 RSV that has Flag mounts capable of holding 2 3'x5' Flags for Parade or Funeral Escort use. I have been with the Patriot Guards for quite a while and I would love to be able to fly my 3'x5' Flags from my soon-to-be acquired 2006 RSV. If anyone can offer help regarding this please do so as soon as possible. Inclement weather riding does not bother me when it comes to PGR Missions for our fallen Hero's. Mods....If I posted this in the wrong place please feel free to re-locate this post to where it should be. My thanks in advance!
1BigDog Posted November 29, 2007 #2 Posted November 29, 2007 I have seen many different ways to mount flags. As a temporary measure I used a house bracket clamped to my bag racks to mount my 3x5 flag. Since I already have a trailer hitch, I plan on building a flag holder to mount into the receiver. Most likely it will be a piece of steel welded toa receiver, long enough to clear the trunk with a piece of pipe welded to the end to drop a pole into. Im sure that if you peruse the PGR site and make a request you will receive many ideas from them.
BoomerCPO Posted November 29, 2007 Author #3 Posted November 29, 2007 Im sure that if you peruse the PGR site and make a request you will receive many ideas from them. Yep....You are right. I was just hoping to see something here that is already on a RSV that I could duplicate for my bike. Regards.....Boomer
BuddyRich Posted November 29, 2007 #4 Posted November 29, 2007 Check BigShell pics. He made one the goes into a trailer hitch.
Eddie Fulmer Posted November 29, 2007 #5 Posted November 29, 2007 Go here and sign in. Find the Royal Star Venture forum and you'll find some pics there. Some guy made a good looking mount 4 2 flags. the upper part of the mount attached to the helmut locks. http://forums.delphiforums.com/n/main.asp?webtag=mainconf&nav=myforums&prettyurl=%2Fmy%2Dforums

BoomerCPO Posted November 30, 2007 Author #9 Posted November 30, 2007 Thanks 1rooster.....I have found exactly what I was looking for and have already ordered the hitch for the bike. My Flag holder (for 2 Flags) will be fabbed out of stainless as well. Regards......Boomer
