BuckShot Posted May 14, 2011 #3 Posted May 14, 2011 Hope you start feeling better soon and heal fast. Glad you jumped back on, but if you hurt to bad , no shame in saying so.
etcswjoe Posted May 14, 2011 #4 Posted May 14, 2011 Sorry you had to drop it, however at least you were in a controlled situation and I am sure you learned something from it. The last MSF course I took the Ultra in front of me dropped in the U-Turn and I followed suit immediately but know I can do a U turn in a single lane.
star4772 Posted May 14, 2011 #6 Posted May 14, 2011 so much for learning to ride........screwed up about 2 hrs into the first lesson.......at least i got my first laydown out of the way early !!! lol I did get back on to finish the night even tho i knew something was messed up.....and they did have to get a second bike out for me to ride....lets say the first one got a lil messed up..... guess the class will have to be done later.. Well at least you can laugh about it :rotf:and still here to tell the story. Get better soon, Oh by the way other then the wrap on your leg (NICE LEG) You going to MD?
MiCarl Posted May 14, 2011 #7 Posted May 14, 2011 That's the way to do it: Crash their bike in a parking lot. Way safer (and cheaper) than doing it later. Glad you're mostly ok.
Dano Posted May 14, 2011 #8 Posted May 14, 2011 At least you're giving it a go Cindy, can't wait to see you out here riding, maybe Cody? Take it easy on that knee, they're not supposed to be used as a kickstand!
Yammer Dan Posted May 14, 2011 #9 Posted May 14, 2011 Hey Cindy i got a good left leg!! We could do the three legged races. Be carefull girl!! We don't heal as good after we get past 18!!
mini-muffin Posted May 14, 2011 #10 Posted May 14, 2011 You Go Girl!!!! You heal up and I'm sure you'll be out there riding really soon. I think my msf class will have to wait till riding season isn't so busy so I can have saturday off to take the class. You take it easy on that leg till it is all healed up. Margaret
BIG TOM Posted May 15, 2011 #11 Posted May 15, 2011 Hope you have a speedy recovery....I thought the instructors wouldn't let you do a wheelie during class?..... quess you need a little more practice on the stunt riding..........
Yama Mama Posted May 15, 2011 #12 Posted May 15, 2011 That is really cool that you are going to be a real biker babe. Good for you. I like your new fancy leg ornament. You have always been stylish. Maybe you will start a new dress trend. Heal up fast, I have put your name in for Dancing with the Stars! Yama Mama:223:
oldgoat Posted May 15, 2011 #13 Posted May 15, 2011 hang in there dont give up and heel up. you will be on the road we have faith in ya. when i took my test i forget one important rule check to see if the fuel pet cock is in the on position. i went to do the u turn and the bike stoped half way into it. of course i put my foot down to stop that little honda rebel from kissing the ground. thank god this was a practice run. i did get a high five for a good safety stop???
Nighthawk II Posted May 15, 2011 #14 Posted May 15, 2011 Dang, gal. You get those slippers from the Jaclyn Smith collection. :cool10:Hope you heal quickly.
Carbon_One Posted May 15, 2011 #15 Posted May 15, 2011 Sorry to hear of your mishap but glad it wasn't too serious. Like all have said take time to heal up and then give it another go. Larry Oh better their bike being dropped then yours too.

DragonRider Posted May 15, 2011 #18 Posted May 15, 2011 At least it wasn't your own bike you dropped and hurt, I am sure it wasn't the first time someone dropped it or any of their bikes before, wasn't the first and won't be the last for them..... Hope your recovery is swift and full.
mother Posted May 15, 2011 #19 Posted May 15, 2011 did no one tell you the first rule of motorcycling is the natural position of a motorcycle is laying down. so that is why we take motorcycle riding course, to learn how to keep it upright trouble is the darn things want to lay down for a snooze once and a while. i commend you for giving it a go, and dont give up. hope that leg heals well, take care. cheers, Scott and Sherry
