Highway peg mounts

I'm looking at the KURY 4549 Adjustable Cruise Peg Mounts (pr)

Fits: Yamaha: Road Star & V Star 950, 1100, & 1300 with stock floorboards

 

I know they don't list the RSTD, but when I look at the parts catalogue on the Yamaha website, i see that the VSTAR 1300 and the RSTD have the same part # for the floorboard, 4NK-27451-10.

 

Does anyone know a reason why I can't mount those on my RSTD?

If the floorboards are the same thing, I'd say it will fit. There are many such aftermarket parts that will fit RSTDs but aren't so listed. You have to compare parts like you've done. Rear brake light lenses and turn signal lenses are the same way.

You are making this alot harder than it needs to be. All you need to do is make sure they will fit the diameter of your bars.

This particular KURY part bolts to the floorboard. I'm trying to avoid the bar BC of the flexing.

Ahhh... I get it now. I was wondering why you were talking about floorboard part numbers. I cant be any help here since I've never seen ones like that before.
