Looking for Center Stand spring bracket

Hey gang,

 

The guy I bought the bike off of had the center stand tied up to the frame with a hose clamp. Turned out the spring and triangular shaped bracket were missing. I got the spring, but Yamaha doesn't make the plate anymore.

 

Does someone know where I can get one, or would be kind enough to give me enough specs to make one myself.

 

The center stand is much nicer when you want to work on the bike.

Actually, turns out it isn't triangular.

 

Looked at the online part diagram.

 

It's part # "25 26H-27115-00-00 LINK, main stand . . . . ." on page 67 of the parts manual you can find in the forum links to manuals.

 

It's got a hole at either end and has a curved shape to it, kinda like a "J" I guess. Weird looking at any rate.
