Kregerdoodle Posted May 8, 2011 Posted May 8, 2011 Man we need some rain....looked at the Rain gauge today and this is what I saw...
Flyinfool Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 I sure wish my rain gauge looked like that. I love droughts when my grass turns that lovely shade of brown and the mower can be ignored for months at a time, and I can park my bike in the yard without having to put a steel plate under the side stand every time because the dry ground is as hard as concrete. If it rains I have to waste valuable riding time using the mower.
Kregerdoodle Posted May 9, 2011 Author Posted May 9, 2011 LOL That is very true, not to mention the $30.00 in gas it costs to mow....Just hopin the well dosn`t dry up... Flyinfool Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 Fortunately I do not have to worry about a well, Lake Michigan (3 blocks away) is not going to dry up in my lifetime. $30 in gas for a mowing? That $30 will get my bike 300 miles. I get POed when I use more than a gallon of gas for mowing in a whole YEAR.
kevin-vic-b.c. Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 Thankfully you have our Martin-Mars water bomber down there helping with some of the fires burning around the southern borders..... that thing will keep you safe.
