how much fork oil

I know I have asked this question before but, I've had to replace the fork seals...again and I forgot how much fork oil you put in each tube with progressive springs. I know George S knows if he sees this post because he has told me before.

With the Progressives it's 5 1/2 inches from the top of the tubes. I made T gauge out of white plastic I can drop in the top and when it hits the bottom the the T........it's full.

I believe in addition to what Snag said, this measurement is with the forks fully collapsed.

 

Forks extended would be different.

Yep, you would need a T gauge that was a lot longer if the forks were extended.

 

And don't forget to burp them.
