Need custom Links....anyone make them?

Ok gang,

 

I have my RSV lowered front and rear.I am VERY happy with the way the bike handles, only real problem is the muffler scraping. I thought maybe I would make a set of links that are 3/4 or 1/2 the difference between the Barons and the stock links. I don't have a drill press handy and thought I might just see if someone was making these?

You can stop by me and use my drill press or even the milling machine.

I will keep that in mind if I get up that way. I will have to get White Castles while I am there!

Got the new links put in today....Amazing how much faster that goes when you get used to it. It took 12 mins including putting away the tools. I think it's damn near perfect now.

 

So for the next project....haha

How much did the new links lower the bike? Did you still need to relocate the brake caliper? Been thinking about this mod for awhile:think: Thanks, Craig

I already had the Barons lowering kit. I just was aiming for around 1 inch instead of the 1.5 inch that the kit does. This set of links does just that. The brake relocation stuff was still on there It has to be unless you want to seriously mod your rear fender.
