madwfla Posted May 1, 2011 #1 Posted May 1, 2011 Department of Defense released info that we lost 25 soldiers this week in Afghanistan. Way too many. Way too long. May God Bless our Heroes and look after them for all eternity.
b2dad Posted May 1, 2011 #2 Posted May 1, 2011 Our son was over there last year and we are so very thankful he returned home safe. So many, as you said, have not. Even one is too many to lose. We are proud of the job they do and their service to their country. Just wish they could do it at home.
Reddog170 Posted May 1, 2011 #3 Posted May 1, 2011 The sad part is that that is what is on my mind when escorting a sendoff, how many of these young men and women will not make it home. This is a reality that we as a country face together. It saddens everyone of us, weather we admit it or not. We loose to many true Americans like this. Shaun
