Met this guy at Majove Desert National Preserve. He is from Wisconsin and has been on the road for a year and a half. Turn 65, retired, and had "a really bad year". Since he was living on Social Security, he figured he could either live in a crappy apartment and watch the snow pile up, or he could make bike payments and ride.

 

He's my new hero.

At the price of fuel now, he better have more than SS if'n he's gonna ride very far!!!

Actually, I think that is a really good job of packing, and I really like your GPS. :)

 

I knew that tank looked familiar, i have an 80 xs650. (slightly modified now though)

I too think you have done a good job at packing that bike. Even got matching luggage.

Nicely done. Nice lookin scoot too!

 

Although, I certainly do not envy you having to repack that every morning after an overnight stop!
