There are some. I've been going around one every day for the past couple of days to get to my hotel in Syracuse, NY. There is also one about 7 miles from my house in the little town of LaGrange. Actually, I've seen more over the past couple of years than I remember in the past.

My girlfriend works in public roads.... Roundabouts will soon be everywhere. They make sense too bad most don't use sense when using them here in Nebraska.

 

They are really popular in neighborhoods to slow down traffic. Although sometimes you will see one that the tracks go straight thru...haha

I agree that they make sense. Once you get used to them, they are much better that red lights. I've actually seen quite a few in the newer suburbs in Michigan.

They are starting to really use them more and more in the US
