awsmsrv Posted April 23, 2011 #1 Posted April 23, 2011 (edited) OK. Here's what I just did today for additional turn signals. I added a 1 foot long amber LED strip right next to the fairing "eyebrows". Whadaya think? Edited April 23, 2011 by awsmsrv Forgot to add pix. Sheesh!
dingy Posted April 23, 2011 #3 Posted April 23, 2011 I think a picture may help with the visual aspect of this thread. Gary
Guest Zak202 Posted April 23, 2011 #5 Posted April 23, 2011 Looks very nice. How did you attach them and run the wires? Did you have to drill holes?
Marcarl Posted April 23, 2011 #6 Posted April 23, 2011 Looks good, and I have NO PROBLEM seeing the pictures!
etcswjoe Posted April 23, 2011 #7 Posted April 23, 2011 I like. Are they sequential or do they come on all at once?

How did you attach them and run the wires? Did you have to drill holes? They have 3M tape on the back of them &, Yes, I had to drill holes. I drilled 1/4" holes, fitted appropriately sized rubber grommets into the holes, then ran the wiring through the grommets & tapped into the turn signal wires. I also used male & female terminals to connect inside the fairing with about 2 feet of wire, so, when I split the fairing, I can just easily disconnect them & lay aside the front half of the fairing. etcswjoe said: I like. Are they sequential or do they come on all at once? They are not sequential. I do have sequentials on my mirrors. To see them click here.
