We put a sidecar on our RSV for the wife, couldn't handle the long rides anymore. We have a 10 yr old Lab and she wants to go riding so looks like the dog will win out.

I have her in a harness and short lead attached but was wondering if anyone has a different setup for their dog?

Dogs rule.

Thanks,

when I had my sidecar 2 harley owners at a rest stop asked me if my Dog rode in the sidecar. I replied with I hope your not calling my wife a dog. They said nothing and rode off. :)

My pug rides b!tch on my back seat in a 'leather' covered milk crate w/safety harness attached to his body harness....something your Lab couldn't do.

What I find works out very well is to attach a tie to the underside of a harness you have the dog ware. It should be attached to the center of the floor/ seat/ or box and just long enough for the dog to stand. It should also have a swivel on it. I ride with a dog very often Two in the trailer or if only one dog, then in a box on the seat. He must have gogles,(dogles) to protect his eyes from the wind, ( If you rid a Harley then he need ear plugs too)

Thanks guys.

Yes she lucked out with the ride. I like the harness attached to the center. I can do that easy.

Thanks again,

I triked mine so the wife could ride in more comfort. I divorced her now I wish I had a sidecar so I could take my great pyrenese along. :stickinouttounge:
