Ok, if we are going to try to meet up, we need to give some detailed info on where we are coming from and what our plans are.

My hopes at this time are:

Leaving Johnson City, Tn at about noon on Thursday the 2nd and ride to Portsmouth, OH up US 23 to spend the night. This would be thru eastern KY. From there, on Friday morning, go up US 23 up to Dayton and hit I71 and up 58 into Oberlin.

If your taking I-77N maybe we could join up at exit 146 Ravenswood/Silverton. I live about 4 miles from that exit.

Are you camping or staying in a motel?

Let me know Joe

Never mind man...

Just got educated... there is an I-71 above Portsmouth Oh.

When you do mapquest from you location it shows 28 to I-77 ... or 28 to CHARLESTON WV TO I-77

Your taking the scenic route... that will be much better. Enjoy!

Planning on making the run up from North Texas - probably a Wednesday and Thursday run up there. If anyone is coming from further south in Texas and wants to join us, you are welcome to spend Tuesday night here.

I am hoping to be leaving Milwaukee, WI at around 6am on Friday Morning and riding straight thru with just food and gas stops.

Since I am a marshmallow but rider, I will use the excuse that my trailer is causing very bad gas mileage and I will need to stop often. Yup that's my story and I am sticking to it.

The plan at the moment is to take I294 "around" Chicago, I80-90 most of the way there.

I am shooting for the fastest way there since I am unsure about my endurance ability.

Yes I am old and the wolves are after me.....
