vicco27 Posted April 17, 2011 #1 Posted April 17, 2011 We put an assortment of build pictures of the bike to trike project in a photobucket album. They can be seen at http://s1209.photobucket.com/albums/cc381/vicco2763/ I'll also put a few of the basic pictures in our gallery in here. When I have the time and figure out how to do it. lol

Trader Posted April 17, 2011 #12 Posted April 17, 2011 Wow! Looks good! Was that a Kit of some kind or was it scratch built?
Carbon_One Posted April 17, 2011 #13 Posted April 17, 2011 Wow! Looks good! Was that a Kit of some kind or was it scratch built? Vic used a Tri-Wing body but fabed up the running gear himself. Correct me if I'm wrong Vic. Larry
nickle Posted April 17, 2011 #14 Posted April 17, 2011 great job. do you have rev. now. i see your long hours payed off.
vicco27 Posted April 19, 2011 Author #15 Posted April 19, 2011 Thank you everyone for all the great comments. They’re really nice to read. The project took about three and a half years. Would’ve been done sooner, but I lost time in 2009 and 2010 because of having major surgery and couldn’t work on it for several months. My wife had surgery in February of this year and I lost a few weeks because I was taking care of her. The reverser is an outboard motor flywheel mounted to the drive shaft and uses an outboard motor starter. It doesn’t work perfectly. I need to push it backwards with my toes to get it started rolling before using the switch. I think I should have used a smaller flywheel ring gear. The rear end is a 7.5” Cougar, T-bird w/IRS. I haven’t done any rake change yet, but it does seem to steer weird. Didn’t think to make a place for a spare fuel tank. The body is from a Tri-Wing kit. They didn’t want to sell me one, had to beg, borrow, and really argue with them to get it. Otherwise, the frame system and suspension are all out of my head. . When we get a chance, we’ll take some pictures of it from all angles and put them in a photobucket album so you can see what it looks like.
Blooz Posted April 19, 2011 #16 Posted April 19, 2011 WOW! Great job. Never thought that would be possible
vicco27 Posted May 5, 2011 Author #17 Posted May 5, 2011 We finally had a day without rain so we could roll the trike outside and take some pictures of it from all angles. The results are posted in photobucket. http://s1209.photobucket.com/albums/cc381/vicco2763/Trike%20from%20all%20angles/
Aussie Annie Posted May 6, 2011 #18 Posted May 6, 2011 Now that's nice wish I could get me some of them bumpers for my H D trike
Hummingbird Posted May 6, 2011 #19 Posted May 6, 2011 When somebody say's "this is my trike", it usually means just that. When you say "this is my trike", few will understand that it really is YOUR TRIKE All I have left is 'awesome, just awesome !!
vicco27 Posted May 6, 2011 Author #21 Posted May 6, 2011 The rear bumpers and the luggage racks on the fenders were made from stainless steel rod that I cut, formed, welded, ground, and polished. They aren't as shiny as I'd like them to be, but I got tired.
dunsonaventure Posted May 7, 2011 #22 Posted May 7, 2011 Vic, That is friggn amazing work. It looks fantastic. Enjoy it.
