Tank Bag??

Anybody know where I can get a good tank bag?Will magnetic ones sratch my paint???

There are lots online, I got mine at J and P cycle...the magnets won't scratch your pain, I did add a small loop of webbing and attached it to one of the bolts holding down the plastic cover around the gas cap...

I got mine from New Enough (motorcyclegear.com) and I belive they give a VR discount too. I got small strap on bag just because of the bib I have on my bike.

The magnets don't scratch if ....

 

You keep them clean. Mine have been great.

 

Additional fixings are great for peace of mind, but completely unnecessary in practise. Those bags do not move even on sports bikes doing over 100.

I use a small Joe Rocket Manta tank bag, had problems with it staying at first, but after I removed the rubber bib from the tank, no problems..

 

Have used magnetic bags for years on several bikes, they have never scratched my tanks. I have manage to scratch several tanks myself, but not with the magnetic tank bags.

I have a small "Manta" style bag and a larger on from "Cargo Basics" (got it at Cycle Gear) that I use on longer trips. The big one will hold a LOT of stuff.
