bongobobny Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 First thing, you will need a 5 wire to 4 wire adapter. They usually cost about $30, and are sometimes listed as a Honda adapter. Wally world, Auto Zone, etc have them. Hoppy makes a real nice protected converter with solid state relays to isolate the lines for around $40 but I can't remembger the part number. Yammi's color code is Blue is running lights, Yellow is brake lights, and Green and Brown are the turn signals, but I can't remember which is right and left...
captdrac Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 Hopkins (Hoppy) manufacturing make a taillight converter (#48925) that works with my 4 wire trailer. I got mine from Northern Tools for about $17. Hopkins also have a cheaper model that works the same way for about $12.00. Both work the same. They didn't have the cheaper one in stock at the time so I bought the more expensive one. Colors are; Yellow-Brake, Blue-Tail/running, Green-Right, Brown-Left.
