Ask Roadhand how all this combination feels and he is fairly long legged. He was smiling big time yesterday when we met up. IF you can get to Houston sometimes I have a friend that will install all of it,Bearings included and you supply the parts listed for $275.00. Believe it or not centramatics somehow make the bike even more stable(not that its not already,it just is something you REALLY feel) and no balancing the tires.
Midrsv Posted May 4, 2011 Author #60 Posted May 4, 2011 Thanks Tom, I've added the Ergo II highway pegs with 4 1/2" arms and they seem about right for my 30" inseam. The problem I have with those is that it doesn't take much to drag them in the curves. I've got the arm parallel with the engine gaurd. One stop higher would bring them too high to be comfortable. I've also added the taller windshield which helped and the Kuryakyn risers. I haven't noticed a problem with the springs but I haven't put enough miles on it to really notice. I'm seriously thinking of adding the Centramatics when I change tires. Dennis

Pricey, but supposedly more comfy than any other type of pegs. And they aren't a problem in the twisties either. Have you checked them out? Http:http://Www.ridingiswonderful.com Joe

dray Posted May 6, 2011 #69 Posted May 6, 2011 actually it is s subset of Titanium, the Metallic Titanium http://powersports.honda.com/Assets/ModelColors/2010_GoldWingAudioComfort_color_MetallicTitanium_trans.png that is the quickest and the fastest of all the Goldwings.[/QUOTE] Dray snickers to him self knowing that is what he has ! so I still win!

Aimhigh Posted May 6, 2011 #72 Posted May 6, 2011 Yes, I was just informing everyone else as I too have a Metallic Titanium GL1800 Yeah, but does it come in white???
dray Posted May 6, 2011 #73 Posted May 6, 2011 Yes, I was just informing everyone else as I too have a Metallic Titanium GL1800 Yeah, but does it come in white??? so if we put kitesquid's and mine side by side that would make us twice as fast as the white one
KiteSquid Posted May 7, 2011 #74 Posted May 7, 2011 so if we put kitesquid's and mine side by side that would make us twice as fast as the white one Accually more like four times as fast and eight times as quick........
Tom Posted May 7, 2011 #75 Posted May 7, 2011 BUT,Metallic Black with a lot of Chrome makes the bike slide thru the wind easier therefore faster due to aerodynamics and wind tunnel testing.......BTW my wife thinks Im full of BS...I wonder why?
