This just can't be happening

A beautiful afternoon, uncovered my VR all set to ride it to work ..........and what do I get but a dead cylinder. So now I get to work on my bike instead of riding it.

If only 1 bad cylinder, I may have taken it out for a run anyway to see if it shook loose after a few minutes/hours and a liberal dose of seafoam.

Tried that one right off......first took the air cleaner off to see if it moved when I cracked the throttle,which it did not. Then reached down with a long screw driver to see if it moved freely which it did. than poured seafoam directly down the carbs cranked the engine a bit and let it sit for 1/2 hour. After that I took it for a short run and smoked out the whole neighbour hood. Finally decided I best take the truck to work.

I have found that when your bike won't start that it's usually your guardian angel looking out for you

My wifes bike would not start one day when friends came to get her for a ride. Later one of the other riders was rear ended at a traffic light, probably woulda been my wife if her scoot would have started.
