slick97spirit Posted April 11, 2011 #1 Posted April 11, 2011 Saw on the news that you guys had some baseball sized hail in North Carolina. Hope everyone is ok. Get your roofs checked out.
TDunc Posted April 11, 2011 #2 Posted April 11, 2011 Fortunately we won that baseball game here in the city for the most part. Some west and south of us did not fair so well.
RandyR Posted April 11, 2011 #3 Posted April 11, 2011 had some about 40 miles east of here, but none at my house fortunately.
Sylvester Posted April 11, 2011 #4 Posted April 11, 2011 Ya''ll should have been in Bessemer City, NC along with most of Cleveland and Gaston Counties. Really hard rain came down...some of it wet and some of it hard. Had hail damage on two vehicles. Oh well, it is spring!
Drreb Posted April 12, 2011 #5 Posted April 12, 2011 It's hot as hell down here in Ga...oh wait you said hail....I'm bad.....
mlew Posted April 12, 2011 #6 Posted April 12, 2011 Luckly no hail here in Apex, just lots and lots of rain. There was baseball size hail south of us about 60 mles, I saw many cars on the news that were totaled. It was a good weekend to sit in the garage and get the bikes fine tuned for riding.
1rooster Posted April 12, 2011 #7 Posted April 12, 2011 Not so lucky here.$5000 damage to my Dodge truck and my BMW is a total loss.Had baseball size hail up here in the mountains.Truck got hit at 3pm while at a warehouse accepting donations for an auction.Went home and hail storm hit there at 5pm.Twice in one day. Both bikes was in the garage.
