OK...I honestly don't remember who the first person was. After we had the crash a couple or three years ago, whenever it was, everybody had to register again. I can look up who registered first after the crash but have no way of knowing who the first original members were.

I don't remember the number one guy but there were about 30 to 40 people giving their opinions about club name and software choices. Each time something changed there was a new number one until things were settled.

When all things were settled I ended up either number 6 or 8. Don't remember now and it really don't matter, the site turned out great.

I think some of the original people are no longer here.

Anybody who is curious, all you have to do is go to your own profile or any other member's profile. While you are viewing their profile, the address bar of your browser will show your membership number at the very end.

For example, this is the link to my profile.

http://www.venturerider.org/forum/member.php?u=1

The 1 is my member number.

Well ain't that cool!

#2,#3 are expired members, Black Ice is 4, #7 dont exsist, #8 is OB-1, #9 is Tooldood, etc.....

All you have to do is change the number at the end of the link and you can find out who is # 10, #11, and so on..

Changes were slow way back when, we all talked about them for days. Well we always had Mr. Owl slowing down the progress.

LOL...so what you are really saying is that some things haven't changed at all. :)

Took forever to come up with the Chili Contest, and wasn't that Mr. Owl's specialty or at least he thought it was :)?

Those were different days, I remember the big fuss about hitting 100. I know I was slow on the re-sign up because I thought Don was going to be able to fix it. Little did we know hey Brad. lol Glad it wasn't my problem .
