Wow, got a phone call from J&P Cycles this morning! I had made a query via email in regard to my visa statement..and they went that extra bit to speak to me personally

My wife bought me a GPS made by LG.

 

After owning it for over 2 years I dropped it and it stopped working.

I called up LG to see how much it might cost to have it fixed. (it had a 1 year manufacturers warrenty)

 

They asked if I could ship it to them so they could check it out.

Now for the amazing part.

 

Because it was the first time I had ever called them with any problem, They gave me an account number so THEY paid the shipping to return it. I thought that alone was pretty good.

 

I sent it off to Toronto (about 200 miles away) on Monday afternoon.

 

I figured it would be a couple of weeksbefore I got a call with the estimate.

 

On Wednesday (the same week) there was a knock on the door and there was the courier with my repaired GPS!!!!!!

 

Not only was it amazingly quick....they paid for the shipping both ways, and for the repair over a year after the warrenty ran out.

 

I don't know why they did that....but since then I have bought an LG Plasma TV and 2 LG fridge/freezer combo's.

 

And I have told a LOT of folks how great they are so it was a good investment on their part.
