Freebird Posted March 29, 2011 #5 Posted March 29, 2011 Folks, this sounds like an interesting product but please note that WildBill is a new trial member. I have just a bit of a problem with folks joining and then immediately trying to sell a product. Wildbill may be and probably is a great person but I just feel that people should at least become a supporting member before they start trying to sell things here. I'm still debating with myself or whether or not I should delete this thread. Your opinions are welcome.

As it stands now, the post bears an uncanny resemblance to spam email. For others, a similar product is the Diamond R Passenger Highway Pegs. I bought them and was satisfied with the look and workmanship. However, it didn't fit my wife's need so I sold them to a fellow VR member. His passenger loves them. I liked how they enhanced the stock floorboards; the Kurakyn boards don't match the Venture look, to me. Dave
friesman Posted March 29, 2011 #9 Posted March 29, 2011 I think a person should be a member before being allowed to sell anything in here. If not you could have lots of spammer types flogging everything in here. If a person becomes a memeber there is also a small amount of info collected on them in case something goes wrong, there is a better chance of a trace back. Brian
eusa1 Posted March 30, 2011 #10 Posted March 30, 2011 I'm with you on this boss.. new members are what makes this club great, however they should be around for a month or two before they pedal any products.... thats just my 2 cents worth. mike
royalstar09 Posted March 30, 2011 #11 Posted March 30, 2011 Hey boss thats normal practice on all the Good sites I belong to. Id say anyone wanting to offer products for sale and are a destributor should be a supporting member for sure. Heck anyone for that matter. Aftewr all whats a few bucks a year???
myminpins Posted August 16, 2011 #12 Posted August 16, 2011 heh... there's a lot of wimmen that need that.... here's a link... http://www.kuryakyn.com/Products/3881/Transformer-II-Passenger-Floorboards I know this is an old thread but do these fit the 2006 Yamaha RSV?? :yikes:If so, they might help me a lot. All Kurayakan ever says is what Harley they fit
XV1100SE Posted August 16, 2011 #13 Posted August 16, 2011 Go to http://www.kuryakyn.com/Metric/Pegs and put in the year/model info. According to that... they do fit the Venture. There is an online help/chat available so you can confirm with them directly what you need.
myminpins Posted August 16, 2011 #14 Posted August 16, 2011 Thank you. I just wanted to ask if anyone here knew it for sure. See, I live in Nova Scotia. Things are very expensive to ship here, take forever and, if they don't work or fit, most times, you're stuck with them. So getting the knowledge from another person who knows about these bikes is invaluable for stuff like this.
myminpins Posted August 16, 2011 #15 Posted August 16, 2011 So I went to the site and it says I need a specific adapter for these boards. So I go and look for them on the site and, lo and behold, there are no adapters listed for my bike. LOL I guess I'll probably stick with Diamond. At least then I know they will fit. Or maybe you don't need the adapters for the Kurayakan products? I really don't know. When I talk to someone on the chat, they just regurgitate back to me what's stated on the product page so that doesn't really help. Guess if you don't own a Harley, they don't know too much!! LOL
