E-Fishin-C Posted March 28, 2011 #1 Posted March 28, 2011 we went to look at a 2003 venture ...turn key everything turn ons ...press button to start button and nothing ??? is it a burnt fuse?
calperin Posted March 28, 2011 #2 Posted March 28, 2011 If the engine is there, and the starter also is there, I have to believe that can be the starter relay that didn't activated. Or the bike was not on neutral?
Eck Posted March 28, 2011 #3 Posted March 28, 2011 Possibly, but I doubt it.. It may just be the battery is low from sitting? When was the last time it was started..? Then again, it coud be the ignition switch too... Ops, I forgot, I am not certified so I am not a master mechanic...
SilvrT Posted March 28, 2011 #4 Posted March 28, 2011 battery can have enough juice to light the lights, etc but not enough to turn the engine over.
Reddog170 Posted March 28, 2011 #5 Posted March 28, 2011 My Honda would do that from time to time. Check the solenoid. or the neutral safety switch. Shaun
Sylvester Posted March 28, 2011 #9 Posted March 28, 2011 kill switch on... This sure got me more times than I care to admit!

Condor Posted March 28, 2011 #12 Posted March 28, 2011 Since it's not running it's worth a lot less than what he's asking.... Worry about what's wrong when you get it home....
