Does anyone use some sort of manuel cruise control (non electronic)?

Do you mean a throttle lock? Not since I got my 2nd Gen in 06. I've used them in the past and think they're invaluable on a non-cruise control equipped bike.

I also use the brakeaway on my 650 V-star midnight custom...

Excellent product... ZERO problems!

Had to as I have carpel tunnel in my right wrist(throttle hand).

Since my cruise control can get a bit iffy at times I installed a throttle lock on mine and added a Throttle Rocker to.

I have some wear and tear in my wrists and it's nice to be able to let up on the grip for a while.

I just purchased the throttle rocker to aleviate some numbness in my hands due to keeping th efingers in direct path of the wind.

Today will be the first tyry at 32 degrees and hwy miles being put on.

Im curious why the throttle lock and the rocker.

i wanted the TL but i already paid for the rocker.

I found it got expensive to pay Manuel to hold the throttle for me plus having to bring him with me everywhere I go. I got an RSTD with the electronic cruise control and now the wife can go with me instead.

Sorry, couldn't pass that up.....

I had one on a bike when I was 18 and fell asleep going down the highway and if it had not been for the dang nabit strips on the side of the rode it would have been a bad thing.
