We had a great trip to meers. When we got there they where lined up out the door and down the street, so we headed for Holy City, what a neat place. Then on over to Mt. Scott, the highest point in Oklahoma. Gunny & Robbie had to head back home so we pressed on to get the Waurika Dam. This was my last check point on my dam tour. After getting my picture we headed for Ardmore to get a room. Got there, no rooms available in town so we headed for Davis with a stop at Turner falls. No rooms in Davis, so we headed for Sulpfur, you guessed it no rooms. The next town was Ada. Since this was 120 miles from home we had dinner and home we went under the “BIG MOON” 586 miles for me. I got home at 11:30PM.

Here is the photo show of the trip

Unless the burgers have changed since the 80's they were fantastic then.

Peg & I was there the week before rode Midnight over there and rode up Mt.Scott which is not the highest point but it looks like it from the top then rode over and let Peg see the prairie dogs and she saw new babies running around. Too bad we missed you guys as we live just 30 miles from Mt. Scott but I had Midnight torn down last few days for valve check and new valve cover gaskets among other things. And as for Meers it is very busy on weekends most of the time an hr wait. last time we had a burger there it was not that good figured it was due to them being so busy yet their home made ice cream & pie was excellent!!!!!!

Mybe we can get together next time around?
