Looking for better handleing

I've found the Venture too easy to lock on the rear wheel and had a few scary stops the first month I owned it. I think it's because the soft front suspension shifts the weight forward too easily on hard stops.

 

The rears will lock up without applying the front ... it's happened to me a few times.

This will happen to any bike, not just ours.. add a little dust to the road and it compounds the problem.. This is why I never SS braid the lines to the rear brake. The point is to have full controlled braking when you bring the bike to a stop.. even more so when in an emergency..
