rumboogy Posted March 16, 2011 #1 Posted March 16, 2011 OK...I'm gonna post my new bib (very similar to my first one)...and the new gas cap. These gas caps are GREAT as a decorative item and even better in use for limiting GLARE off the gas cap and also giving you a place to put your gas cap when filling up. These are a combination of regular pictures and iPhone pics.
Rick Haywood Posted March 16, 2011 #2 Posted March 16, 2011 Looks Great Wally, I am going to send her an amail and order the gas cap cover. After seeing yours I just gotta have one. I am very happy with the bib she made for mine, it is so much nicer than the stock ones.
rumboogy Posted March 16, 2011 Author #3 Posted March 16, 2011 Rick...you'll really enjoy the gas cap and the way it cuts glare and also saves your seat from getting gas on it from the gas cap. It's a great fit.
Little Bob Posted March 16, 2011 #4 Posted March 16, 2011 Where can I get the gas cap cover? That is great. Anyone know how much?
PERM44 Posted March 16, 2011 #5 Posted March 16, 2011 Nanci's making me a whale tail bib now and I should have it back maybe next week. I'll post some pix when I get it. She's great to work with.
royalstar09 Posted March 16, 2011 #6 Posted March 16, 2011 Bib looks great. I also noticed you did what I did it appears and moved your headset connection and eliminated that "tacky" cable holder. Looks great.

rumboogy Posted March 16, 2011 Author #8 Posted March 16, 2011 Nanci at http://acehighleathers.com/ Nanci does great work and can customize it almost any way you want. I don't know her price list since I got a package deal on 3 different items. But she is reasonable. Wally
Lone Eagle Posted March 16, 2011 #10 Posted March 16, 2011 I've known Nanci for quite some time - she is a great lady to deal with - her work is always great quality.

SMSgt Posted March 21, 2011 #15 Posted March 21, 2011 I found anotgher thread from Nanci and I will email her directly. :cool10:
rumboogy Posted March 21, 2011 Author #16 Posted March 21, 2011 Her site is down right now due to a SERVER problem. They are working on it and hopefully it will be back tomorrow. In the mean time...you can email her at: nanci@shasta.com She is easy to work with and you can let her know what you are wanting...or just talk to her. I would assume her site will be back up tomorrow.

rsstar Posted August 9, 2011 #18 Posted August 9, 2011 That is beautiful Wally. Makes me want to get another Venture just so I can have a bib like that. Before they came out with the cover you could buy for the RSV I took a coke bottle (20oz) and cut it down to the bottom and it fit over the gas cap. Eliminated all the glare on the windshield. My friend Chick from New Hampshire had made a cover with a cupholder to hold his coffee cup. loved the RSV but hated the glare on the windshield.
