Trader Posted March 13, 2011 #1 Posted March 13, 2011 Not even sure if that is the correct term. What I mean is to be able to quickly go back to a thread of interest. I've been kicking around here for almost a year and I STILL haven't figured out how to "subscribe" to a particular thread. Brace yourself....I'm just about ready to start tearing into my 83 blonde! The flood of questions will soon start!
Freebird Posted March 13, 2011 #2 Posted March 13, 2011 In the blue bar just at the top of your post there is a drop down menu that says "Thread Tools". Click on that and you'll see Subscribe to thread. Then later you go to your UserCP to find your subscribed threads. Good luck with your project.
Scooter Bob Posted March 13, 2011 #3 Posted March 13, 2011 There's a little box that says "thread tool" at the top of any post, click that and click "subscribe". Also, you can go into your user CP and choose to get subscription automatically when you reply to a thread.
Scooter Bob Posted March 13, 2011 #4 Posted March 13, 2011 (edited) Then later you go to your UserCP to find your subscribed threads. You can also use the "Quick Links" button on the header menu and choose to view all subscribed threads. And Boss, you're just too quick on the monitoring of this site. Trader Posted March 13, 2011 Author #5 Posted March 13, 2011 thanks guys....that was embarrasingly easy! I've been all over this site and never noticed that before.
bongobobny Posted March 13, 2011 #6 Posted March 13, 2011 What exactly are you doing to the scoot?? I still have some parts to get rid of, it will cost you a trip across the border to pick up...
Scooter Bob Posted March 14, 2011 #7 Posted March 14, 2011 Funny you should chime in on this Bob. Earlier today I was thinkin' about mentioning to him that yours ended up in pieces for two years and cost you a New Second Gen besides. Later, Scooter Bob
Trader Posted March 14, 2011 Author #8 Posted March 14, 2011 Nothing too major....I'm thinking the (83) Blonde VR may not see the road this summer...but I have the (84) Red Venture also. I need to put the clutch kit in it and it should be good to go. The Blonde is running only on 3 cyl. so I need to sort that out. I'm putting in progressives, Condor brace, fork seals fuse kit, battery sensor bypass, anti dive block off plates, SS brake lines, new plug wires and heavier battery cables. I also have new diaphrams...thinking I might just rebuild carbs too. of course I'm going to clean up electrical connections etc...and I'd like to put some more lighting front and back. I haven't experienced any issues with the 2nd gear on the Blonde and I don't know if it has been done or not. Red was done by PO. I need the cables for intercom....driver and passenger, maybe a 2nd radio (with cassette of course) for Red. 83 and 84 working TCI for spares? Not really sure what else. What have you got???? Any other suggestions on work?
