Guest Posted September 30, 2011 Share #26 Posted September 30, 2011 You can trust me Ruffy.... I'm a Doctors brother.... GO SEE A DOCTOR or it just might be that saddle on your Second Gen that's the problem. Go out and get a First Gen.... the Saddle is wonderful Since I have already seen a doctor AND I had a 1st gen I have both bases covered. Hmmm, maybe the 1st gen caused this problem..... dray Posted September 30, 2011 Share #27 Posted September 30, 2011 Caution...observations like this could bring on a whole different kind of swelling! she could give him a little blue pill for that too!
johnbroughman Posted September 30, 2011 Share #28 Posted September 30, 2011 When you are riding first, make sure you are not dragging your feet, this will cause swelling of the feet and legs.
spear Posted September 30, 2011 Share #29 Posted September 30, 2011 On a more serious note . . I own a second gen and often do BIG miles - stopping only for fuel. MY BAD! I have two crushed discs in my lower back (on-going chiro treatments) that are not affected by riding, but give me hell with my sciatic nerve - right side - in everyday life. Recently I did a 1200kms (750 miles) trip in my car in just under 12 hours, stopping only twice for fuel. Towards the end of the trip I felt sharp stabbing pains to the underside of my right foot. Told my chiropractor about that last session and he said it was the sciatic nerve reacting to me sitting for so long. He also said I was in danger of DVT, and if I ever did that again he would not have me back as a patient because he would kill me first - for being an idiot. Wow - heavy words. Ya live and ya learn - sometimes too late. Hope you get your problem/s resolved.
