I've wanted to view and photograph a launch ever since they started the shuttle program. Just one of those things in the 'bucket' that will never happen.
CaptainJoe Posted March 7, 2011 Author #3 Posted March 7, 2011 That would make for one heck of a trip though!

Sling Posted March 7, 2011 #6 Posted March 7, 2011 Don't mean to hyjack this thread BUT----- If you go to the site below you can look up your location, for the times that you can go outside on a clear night and for about 2minutes you can see the international space station go by. Tomorrow night you should be able to see the shuttle pass overhead also. http://spaceflight.nasa.gov/realdata/sightings/cities/skywatch.cgi?country=United+States
CaptainJoe Posted March 7, 2011 Author #7 Posted March 7, 2011 Thanks Sling, I'll check them out in about one hour! Although the 11 th may be the best time as far as the clouds are concerned...
CaptainJoe Posted March 8, 2011 Author #8 Posted March 8, 2011 BUMP... Register online at http://www.ksclaunchtickets.com beginning March 2 at 9:00 a.m. ET through March 9, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. ET. If anyone is interested let me know as I have to be one of the first ones logged on to their site when the sale occurs as I want "causeway tickets". A couple of launches ago they were gone in minutes... a person can buy 6 tickets... Also: Anyone ever stay at Jetty park in April?
