GaStar Posted March 6, 2011 #1 Posted March 6, 2011 I rarely post as I search all the time! Since I've joined, I have had help syncing my carbs, learned where to get a backrest (Utopia) just ordered, Found out about the slight clutch slippage and ordered Skydoc_17's upgrade kit and just had fun. Thanks for being such an easy going site.

mraf Posted March 6, 2011 #3 Posted March 6, 2011 Need more info on this fun thing you mention. The ball busters are sleeping :duck:or riding:confused24:. One thing about this place if you don't see anything you like now just come back in a few minutes and anything can happen.:wel_ani4Tay:
mini-muffin Posted March 6, 2011 #4 Posted March 6, 2011 Once you get to a meet and eat you become addicted to them. Just watch out when the ice cream comes out, gotta move fast then. Margaret PS am I a ball buster or just a pot stirrer? I didn't know we had ball busters. Must have missed that meeting.
GaStar Posted March 6, 2011 Author #5 Posted March 6, 2011 Fun from the Jokes and Humor section. Can't wait til a Meet n Eat works with my schedule. I love to ride. The ride I have coming up is 800 miles one way give or take. Can't wait. Not to mention I love to work on my bike. I AM going to do the VMax cams, VMax final drive and Venture carb upgrades. So awesome and all thanks to info on this site!

Reddog170 Posted March 6, 2011 #12 Posted March 6, 2011 Got to say I rather enjoy this site as well. Have already talked to someone from here on the phone and may have just saved me a ton of headache and trouble. Great place. Shaun
Guest Swifty Posted March 6, 2011 #13 Posted March 6, 2011 Thanks for being such an easy going site. Got to say I rather enjoy this site as well. ...the pond monster won't go hungry for a while.
mraf Posted March 6, 2011 #14 Posted March 6, 2011 No sweating here. Just curious. I'll go out on a limb and say he's probably implying that once bitten by this site it becomes addictive. There are some motorheads on this site that will give very good help with the hop-up plans you mention if you need it. But remember pics, so the rest of us can drool.
GaStar Posted March 6, 2011 Author #15 Posted March 6, 2011 Don't worry. I like pics too. I also have a 4X4 site I paruse. Total Motorhead here as well.
bongobobny Posted March 7, 2011 #16 Posted March 7, 2011 Once you get to a meet and eat you become addicted to them. Just watch out when the ice cream comes out, gotta move fast then. Please reply here or at Zfrebird4@aol.com, with subject as 'clutch slipping some,' etc. Thanks Jack Tharp :backinmyday:72 years young and still on two! Luvin it, as I just ride to live! Jz

Yammer Dan Posted March 7, 2011 #23 Posted March 7, 2011 That's nothing I am still waiting on my decoder ring... Those rings are made from 1st Gens when they expire. Big shortage on those rings!!
mini-muffin Posted March 7, 2011 #24 Posted March 7, 2011 We do have those other decoder rings (ya know the one we made from found on the side of the road Harley parts:whistling:), but they don't work as well. Note no bikes were harmed in the making of these rings. If ya have a harley please don't be offended it's all in fun. Margaret
